Reach your Potential

Physical Therapy Internship

Smith Performance Center is committed to the field of physical therapy and expert performance.  We want to support the development of physical therapy students with a well designed internship that prepares each intern for the rigors of physical therapy practice.   The internships at Smith Performance Center focus on physical examination, diagnosis, gait analysis, and manual therapy.  We require up to 40 hours per week with study time and online lessons included in the 40 hours.  As a fee for service clinic, students will always work with the clinician and will not have their own case load.  However, it is expected that significant time will be devoted outside of the clinic to self study and improvement.

At the end of your internship, we aim for our interns to practice beyond entry level for diagnosing and managing lower extremity disorders.

Internships are available throughout the year. For those interested, please submit an application to craig@smithperformancecenter.com.
